The Arts Council of West Chester & Liberty was founded in 1996, and has been revitalized with members dedicated to bringing the Arts to the Community and the Community to the Arts. The Arts are truly part of the basic necessities of life which enrich and fulfill our needs. The artists, musicians, actors, dancers, writers and lovers of the art, who live and work in West Chester and Liberty define our cultural values, shape our identity and give us reason to celebrate. Our goals are to create a community where the Arts are accessible to everyone and are integrated into daily life. To create a recognized as a vital part of the economy. To create community through arts programming and to create a sustainable organization. Our all volunteer board operates out of a passion of the Arts and recognition that the arts create a vibrant, healthy community.
